Carla and Armando are the heart and soul behind Sunset Sailing Algarve – a couple whose passion for the sea, as well as for each other, is reflected in every private boat tour in the Algarve.
Driven by an adventurous spirit, they once crossed the Atlantic aboard their catamaran – a Nautitech 475, which is in fact one of the few in the world. After this remarkable journey, they returned to Portugal to begin a new chapter on the waters of the Ria Formosa in Faro.

How many guests can we welcome?
Our boat can accommodate up to 14 people, including children.
Are food and drinks included?
No, they are not included. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks (except red wine). There’s also the option to stop at a restaurant on one of the islands in the Ria Formosa.
For groups of up to 6 people, we can prepare lunch on board with tapas and cataplana, upon request.
Can we customise an event (corporate, wedding, etc.)?
Yes, we are happy to personalise your experience whenever possible.
Is the tour cancelled in case of bad weather?
In case of bad weather, we will offer the possibility to reschedule your tour according to our availability.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
We are sorry if you have to cancel your reservation, however, from the moment Sunset Sailing makes the commitment with your booking and stops accepting other bookings for that day, the cancellation costs must be assumed by the customer.
Cancellation costs for the client depending on the advance notice in relation to the event date (private event):
30 days: 20% of the total amount;
29 to 15 days: 35% of the total amount;
14 to 8 days: 50% of the total amount;
< 7 days: 100% of the total amount.
Can we change the time of the tour?
For full-day tours, we can adjust the schedule slightly, depending on our availability.
